Our little lady Liv is two!

Yesterday my sweet little girl turned two! We officially have a toddler and it really blows my mind. I swear just yesterday we were in the hospital enduring a 22 hour labor and meeting our sweet baby for the first time. Olivia is the sweetest little girl, she loves making people laugh and smile. At two years old Olivia:

wears size 3T clothes
when she does wear diapers, she's a size 5. Lately she only wears her big girl panties during the day and diapers at night :)
Loves sleeping in her big girl bed. She usually only naps once or twice a week for about an hour and sleeps for about 10 hours at night
Loves her foods. She loves all fruits, meat, cheese, breads, pretty much everything except vegetables. Lately her favorite foods are cantaloupe, beans and rice, pizza, and guacamole
has 16 cute chompers and is in the process of cutting her last set of molars, and loves to brush them
speaks in very clear sentences and chats our ears off all day
loves to dance! I found a dance studio that will take kids at two and I'm so excited to get her signed up this fall to give it a go!

always wants mommy to paint her nails and toes
is officially off the binkie! I found this idea on pinterest and after her birthday party we tied all of her binkies to her balloons and told her we were sending them away to another baby. She did so great and has only mentioned it a couple of times and just says "no more binkies, go bye bye to babies"
hates bugs and being messy, such a girly girl :)

She doesn't see the doctor for her two year well child appointment until next month so I'll wait to post all her growth stats until after her appointment. We are so incredibly blessed to have such a kind hearted and easy going babe like Liv to call our daughter. She has made this journey of being parents so rewarding and fulfilling. We had a lady bug themed birthday party for her at our house on Saturday and she had so much fun! All of her favorite friends and cousins came and made her day very special!

Liv's second Birthday pics

Well its happening, my little baby is almost a two year old. I really can't believe this is happening. She is such a cool kid and so sweet I love her so much. We had some pictures taken for her birthday last week and we're so happy she was into it and happy for them- the last time we tried to have pictures taken of Liv this was what we got...

so needless to say there was a lot of bribery involved for her to even entertain the idea of taking pictures. She did so good this time around and we were so happy with them. We're having her second birthday party this weekend so I'll post some pictures of how it all turns out :)

more fun in the sun

Well we ended up going back to lagoon with Matt's sister Amanda and Colton a couple weekends ago. Liv and Colton were super cute together riding rides! Then Olivia had her first dentist appointment and totally rocked it! Matt and I both LOVE going to the dentist so it was really important to us that her first experience was a good one (especially because going to her doctor is always sooo traumatic) well she ended up loving it just like mom and dad and has asked me several times since if we can go back. We've also had a few bbq's with friends and family and we also celebrated Liv's second 4th of July! We went to the West Jordan parade with our families and then we all went out to breakfast. Liv loved the fireworks again this year, she kept naming off all the colors and yelling "wow, boom boom!". Then we spent the day up at echo lake with matt's dad and his brothers and sisters. It was so fun, we got to take Liv out on the boat this year and she had so much fun playing with all of her cousins for the day. Other then that we've just been spending a lot of time outside swimming, playing, and working on the yard :)
