Liv's doctor appointment and other things :)

So we had Olivia's two year doctor visit yesterday. As usual she did not do so hot when her doctor came into the room, its like she knows shots are coming and gets anxiety about it. But as soon as her shot was done she was fine and dandy. I know she'll grow out of this phase soon and thankfully she doesn't go back to see the doctor for a year, well except for her flu shot, so hopefully by then she'll give her a chance. Her growth stats are:
  • length 34.9 in- 75%
  • weight 32.6 pounds- above 95%
  • head 19.3 in- 75%
Her doctor said she was really impressed with how much she talks, even though she was screaming most of the time. They asked us if she knows at least 50 words that mean the same thing every time and I figured she did but I've never counted. Then I got home and tried to do a count and got to 350 words and stopped counting :) Her doctor also seemed impressed with her being pretty much potty trained during the day. She even went without a diaper to her appointment and through everything she stayed completely dry. She is turning into such a cool little kid and fills my heart with so much joy. We have some cute neighbor kids across the street about her age that she loves to play with. She'll sit and look out the window and wait for them to come out so we can go play and the other day they came and knocked on the door and asked if Olivia could come out and play with them. Just melted my heart. She's turning into such a social little butterfly. We've been enjoying these last few weeks of summer as much as possible with lots of swimming and spending most of our time outside.
