First and foremost let me just warn that this post is going to be a picture overload! We've had a super fun filled week! I'm loving the warm weather lately, I think little Liv does too! Last Sunday we all went with Carl, Mckell, Gav, Zach, and Rylee to ride the Heber Creeper! It actually was more of a mini version not the full two hour ride. It was all Thomas the Train themed and they had fun little activities for the kids before the train ride. Liv really seemed to enjoy it all and she even got her first tattoo :)
We also had another zoo adventure on Thursday with my friends Katie and Jenna and
their little dudes Parker and Soren. Matt works right by the Zoo so he
was able to meet us up there and enjoy the day with us. We missed the opening of the new Rocky Shores exhibit by a day, which was a total bummer so we'll most likely be going back very soon :)
Then on Saturday we were invited to go to Lagoon with The Christophersons for Carl's work Lagoon day! We brought my mom with us to help with baby, she was not about to miss Liv's first Lagoon experience. We had soooo much fun! I love Lagoon, all the rides I just can't get enough. Matt has to take it pretty easy and wont go on a lot of the rides so I was curious to see how Liv would do. Well I think its pretty clear she is 100% her mother's daughter! This chick was such a rock star! We got there bright and early and swam in the beach area with Carl, Kell and Gav to combat the heat for a bit. It was really nice we mostly just floated in the tubes with the babes then Kell and I went down one of the big water slides and I totally got my bum kicked! Then after that Liv took a nice nap while we rode a couple rides then we took Liv on a few rides. We rode both haunted house rides (each one twice), the merry-go-round (twice) the Train, the sky ride, the tilt-a-whirl, and the fire dragon (twice). Liv had zero complaints! Except when the tilt-a-whirl ended because she didn't want to get off! She did sooo great she is seriously the best baby. It was nice to have my mom there too, she took Liv on a few rides so we could ride some big rides with Carl and Kell.
she was soo excited can't ya tell?
on the merry-go-round
on the train
on the sky ride
sharing cookies with grandma
eating cookies
applauding the rides
so ready to go home
still sleeping it off the next day
Then on Sunday we went and visited Grandma Carrie and Liv had lots of fun exploring on the new wood floors and playing with toys. Then we went over to my parents house for some fun surprises for Livie!
Grandpa made her a tree swing!
and got her a swimming pool
rough life :)
Can't wait for more summer time adventures with this little princess.
