Birthday party

On Saturday we celebrated our little cupcake's First Birthday!! We had a cute, little party at Grandma and Grandpa's house and it turned out really fun! We rented a bounce house for he kids to play in and we had a BBQ for everyone. Aside from the heat, which I guess was better then rain, everything went great! A lot of Livie's friends came and it was fun to watch them all play together. Matt's sister Amanda even made it and Liv finally got to meet them and play with her cute cousin Colton! We are so happy that everyone who made it came and celebrated with us :) Liv definitely scored in the presents department. She got a TON of super cute clothes, lots of fun toys, a cool water table, and a wagon from Mom and Dad! I can't believe her first birthday has come and gone so very fast. We love her oh so very much!

12 months

Well here we are, we have a One year old! Olivia turned one on Sunday the 22nd and we had her 12 month appointment today. She did so well at her appointment, her doctor was beyond impressed with her development and said she acts and is on the level of an 18 month old. She got 3 shots today and barely made a peep and was over it by the time her band aids were on. Seriously the best baby ever! At 12 months Olivia:

• is 31.5 inches long-above 95%
• weighs 27.2 pounds-above 95%
• head is 18.6 inches-90%
• wears 18-24 month clothes
• in size 5 diapers, probably only for another week or two though. Her little butt cheeks are starting to hang out
• no more formula! Still has 2-3 bottles a day with her milk and loves it! 
• So sick of baby food! Loves her yogurt for breakfast, and pretty much just eats whatever we eat for lunch and dinner.
• walking/running all over the place
• waves "hi" and "bye"
• claps her hands and plays patty cake
• shakes her head no
• loves to sing the 5 little ducks and make the "quack quack" sound and a duck mouth with her hands
• has 6 teeth
• loves to dance and shake her booty
• Says Mama, Dada, Baba, Hi, Ball, Grandma, Grandpa, Book, more, yeah, wow, uh-huh, and dance
• loves to share
• gives hugs and kisses
• sleeps through the night with 2 naps during the day

Birthday Pics

Last week we had Olivia's first birthday pictures taken by the wonderful Cat Palmer. We went up to the Union station tracks in Ogden. Liv was so cute like always and loved eating her pink lemonade cake :) I can't believe my baby is almost one! Her birthday party is next weekend and we're so excited to celebrate the big day for our little girl!
